What makes this light cake so special? Ouzo\, of course! And a honey syrup that’s poured over the walnut cake as soon as it come out of the oven\, making it practically melt in your mouth. \nAncient Greek desserts incorporated a lot of nuts and honey into their sweet preparations. Walnuts were abundantly available\, much more so than wheat and other protein-rich grains\, which were scarce and only used to make bread. \nCLASS NOTES: This is a cook along class offered live via the Zoom app. You’ll receive an email with recipes and class details 5 days in advance.
