DESCRIPTION:Five Days – July 24\, 26\, 27\, 28\, 29\, 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM. Teen Chef Camp: Culinary Concepts & Skills with Chef Barry Infuso. Ages 12-16. Cost: $299.00 per person. \nDo you know a teen who loves cooking and wants five days of action-packed hands-on experiences learning new skills from a professional chef? Maybe they dream of becoming a chef one day? If so\, our Teen Chef Camp is the perfect idea! \nOver the five days\, teens will learn everything they need to know to slice\, dice\, chop\, and brunoise their way to stocks\, sauces\, soups\, appetizers\, salads\, side dishes\, dry and moist heat cooking\, breads\, and desserts; preparing delicious dishes using fresh and seasonal ingredients\, and how to present them with flair and creativity. \nThey’ll gain confidence and knowledge in the kitchen and will be able to impress family and friends with their culinary creations as well as have fun and make new friends who share a passion for food. \nTeen chefs will receive a certificate of completion and a recipe booklet at the end of the camp. \nCLASS NOTES: The class\, limited to 16\, will be held at the Catalina United Methodist Church kitchen\, 2700 E. Speedway Blvd. You’ll receive an email with class details (everything you’ll need will be provided) 3 days in advance. Please use an email address you frequently check. Our emails can get caught in spam filters or blocked entirely. Please contact us if you don’t receive the class information. \nAll classes\, camps\, workshops\, and events are nonrefundable. You can request a transfer to a different class up to 7 days prior to the class. Events\, Culinary Boot Camps\, Camps and Workshops require a 14-day notification. Your request must be emailed to flyingapronstucson@gmail.com. Click here for required in-person waiver.  \nPlease know it may be necessary to cancel select classes if 10 or fewer guests enroll.
