Ayla Kapahi – Director of Production and Head Brewer, Borderlands Brewing Co.
Ayla has seven years of commercial brewing experience and has been with Borderlands Brewing Company for four years.
In 2019, she helped open Arizona’s first all-women’s brewing production facility. Ayla enjoys working on beer collaborations with breweries throughout Mexico.
She is the co-founder and co-leader of the Pink Boots chapter of Southern Arizona, a non-profit that supports women in fermentation sciences. Ayla aims to empower women and minorities in the craft beer industry through education and collaboration.
