Todd Sicolo – Executive Chef, Westward Look Wyndham Grand Resort & Spa
Chef Todd’s first restaurant job was as a kid peeling potatoes in one of his family’s two Italian restaurants in New York, where he earned 50 cents a potato.
After graduating from the Culinary Institute of America, the opportunity to create culinary experiences inspired from across the globe led him to a hospitality career of director of food & beverage and executive chef. It’s great people that keep him inspired, especially during the toughest of times for the industry.
He’s cooked for four U.S. presidents, at the White House and also at resorts where he worked. In 2018, Chef Todd was named executive chef at Westward Look after opening the Intercontinental Hotel Los Angeles.
Previously, for six years he was Executive Chef for Shelborne Grand Resort & Spa in South Beach, Florida, where he worked directly with celebrity chef Masaharu Morimoto. For six years he was Executive Chef for the Arizona Biltmore Resort & Spa in Scottsdale. He also cooked in North Carolina, Las Vegas and the British Virgin Islands.
Chef Todd believes sharing a meal with family, friends, colleagues and peers is the most important emotional connection we can have.
