Show Dad Some Love with Chocolate Tarts
June 14, 2022 @ 5:00 PM - 7:30 PM
$75.00Tuesday, June 14, 5:00 PM – 7:30 PM. Show Dad Some Love with Chocolate Tarts with Pastry Chef Kayla Draper. Cost: $75.00 per person.
Pastry Chef Kayla Draper, who turns out magical desserts at BATA, Tucson’s hottest new restaurant, is also known as the sugar fairy. She’ll teach you how to take traditional chocolate ganache tarts to a whole new level with additional components of chocolate mousse, artistically arranged fresh fruit and the pièce de résistance: Meringue mustaches! You’ll make and take home 6 tarts, maybe eating one if you can’t wait.
Starting with the perfect pie dough that’s tender and flaky (and a recipe with a ton of other uses), the yummy results are a delicious way to honor and bake with love for dads, husbands, stepdads, grandfathers, uncles, brothers or other male role models celebrating Father’s Day. Chef Kayla will guide you step-by-step to have fun piping mustaches in a variety of shapes and sizes.
