Exploring Thai Cuisine
December 8, 2022 @ 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM
$75.00Thursday, December 8, 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM. Exploring Thai Cuisine with Chef Dee Buizer. Cost: $75.00 per person.
The flavors of today’s cuisine from the Land of Smiles draws inspiration from its ancient history combining meat and seafood with rice, local vegetables, herbs and spices. At Chef Dee Buizer’s Senae Thai Bistro, her authentic and elevated dishes enjoyed rave reviews.
On the menu: Tom (cooked) Kha (galangal – a varietal of ginger) Gai (chicken) coconut milk soup’s origin is from northern Thailand with influences from neighboring Laos. Its pungent, slightly sour and floral flavors beautifully contrast coconut milk’s creaminess and Gai (chicken) Pad (stir-fried) Kraprow (holy basil) served over rice with an egg. The dish is adapted from Chinese stir-frying, is popular in northern Thailand and found from street food vendors to high-end restaurants.
