Tuesday, Sept. 29, 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. Zoom Class: Hello Fall Flavors – Cooking the Perfect Gnocchi with Chef Kyle Nottingham. $40 per screen.
Fall is just around the corner, which mean our palates and plates will soon be filled with the bounty of beautiful autumn produce and flavors.
Known for his unique food and taste pairings, Chef Kyle Nottingham, Chef/Partner of the Ares Collective: Prep & Pastry, Commoner & Co. and August Rhodes Bakery, will engage your taste buds with a kickoff to fall menu of root vegetable and ricotta gnocchi and caramelized pumpkin, desert sage, local honey and Parmesan cheese.
The first 50 people to register will get their ingredients for free! In Tucson, you’ll pick them up at either Prep & Pastry location, and for those of you in Maricopa County, you’ll pick up your ingredients at Prep & Pastry’s Scottsdale location. You’ll receive an email with all the details.
Light and airy is the best way to describe Italy’s most famous dumpling. These little pillows of yumminess complement almost any pasta sauce and one of the best things about gnocchi – they’re pretty easy, and fun to make. Cooking along in real time with Chef Kyle, you’ll master the science, techniques and recipe versatility to add gnocchi to your repertoire.
CLASS NOTES: This is a cook along class offered live via the Zoom app. You’ll receive an email with recipes and class details 7 days in advance. Some time-consuming steps may need to be prepared in advance. Virtual classes are nonrefundable.
