This is hands-down the most essential cooking class you’ll ever take! Knife skills are one of the most important parts of the culinary arts and you’ll learn from a master, boosting your competence and confidence.
Acclaimed teaching chef, food writer and author Chef Judith will guide you step-by-step perfecting large dice, medium dice, small dice, batonnet, allumette, julienne, brunoise, mince and chiffonade. You’ll also understand types of knives for different jobs, buying, caring and storing knives.
As a bonus, you’ll cook along with her using all those veggies and herbs, making stir fried Orange Shrimp or Chicken using the julienned carrots, snow peas and red bell pepper in a tangy orange sauce served with wholesome brown rice and Chopped Fresh Herb and Arugula Salad – parsley, mint, chives, arugula, tomatoes, green onions, avocado, feta cheese and chiffonade of basil in a lemon dressing.
